- Text Box Tool
- The text box tool is used to create a new text box. A text box is
- a rectangular region in which text is placed. To create a text box,
- click on the Text Box Tool, then move the pointer diagonnally to the
- location where you want one corner of the text box to be. The pointer
- should appear as a set of crosshairs. Click and hold the mouse button,
- then drag to the location where you want the opposite corner
- to be, then release. Lines mark the boundary of the newly created text box,
- and handles on those lines indicate that the text box is active.
- Note that MacPublisher changes the pointer to an I-beam and
- places it in the upper left corner of the newly created text box.
- This is done so that you can start typing text immediately.
